Description
During this conference, Didier offers a deliberately counter‑intuitive perspective: that of a wingsuit pilot who, out of vital necessity, strictly adheres to the laws of physics, the constraints of the real world, and a rigorous analysis of risks — in contrast with our 21st‑century Western society, which has largely exceeded planetary boundaries.
Drawing on his experience in base jumping and his work as a consultant in energy transition, he demonstrates that true freedom exists only within constraints that are clearly understood and respected: gravity, aerodynamics, weather conditions… but also climate, resources, and CO₂ emissions.
His story invites us to rethink our relationship to risk, performance, and freedom, with one central objective: raising awareness of our current situation in order to restore, as quickly as possible, a sustainable trajectory for humanity and future generations.
