Technical description

A low wind speed starting device with a large variable speed (260 revolutions per minute) is designed and manufactured. After testing,the starter can start a vertical wind turbine to generate electricity at a low wind speed of 1.5-2 m/s.

Simplified description

A new wind turbine starter has been created to work at low wind speeds. This device can get a vertical wind turbine spinning and generating electricity even when the wind is as slow as 1.5-2 meters per second.
